Equal eSports Cup

The Equal eSports Cup as a stage for women and non-binary players

Together with Riot Games, SK Gaming and epf, Telekom has launched a tournament series for women and non-binary players.
With the Equal eSports Cup, we want to bring female players onto the big stage and give them the opportunity to show what they can do!

The new mode of the Equal eSports Cup

The Equal eSports Cup should be for ALL women and non-binary players. Therefore, the mode has changed this year. In addition to 12 seeded teams and one spot, which was allocated variably, 4 teams qualified for the Closed Qualifiers via the Open Qualifiers. Depending on how well the teams did, they received points. The 4 teams that could collect the most points after the 4 qualifiers qualified for the Grand Final at the Equal eSports Festival Vol. 3. The Grand Final was about a prize money of 10.000€!

15 prestigious eSports organisations from the LEC and the Prime League at the Equal eSports Cup

We are very happy to announce that some of the most successful eSports organisations from Germany and Europe have participated in the Equal eSports Cup! With SK Gaming, Team Vitality, G2, Team BDS and KOI, 5 teams from the LEC are providing a team at the Cup. With Unicorns of Love, BIG, Eintracht Spandau, Eintracht Frankfurt Esports, MOUZ, GamerLegion, E WIE EINFACH E-SPORTS and NNO, almost the entire Prime League DIV. 1 was present. In addition, there were the DIV. 2 teams Austrian Force willhaben and TeamOrangeGaming.

SK AVAROSA WINS THE 1ST EQUAL ESPORTS CUP

With a strong performance at the Grand Final of the Equal eSports Cup at the Equal eSports Festival Vol. 3, SK Avarosa secured the well-deserved overall victory.

AT THE EQUAL ESPORTS CUP FINALE AT THE EQUAL ESPORTS FESTIVAL VOL. 3 THERE:

The highlight of the festival, the grand final of the Equal eSports Cup, was held on the 21st of September at 18:00. The following 4 top teams had performed best in the qualifiers and thus qualified for the grand final at the Equal eSports Festival Vol. 3. On Wednesday ( 20th September) the two semi-finals took place, on Thursday ( 21st September) the match and 3rd place and the cup final.

SK Avarosa

SK Gaming was founded in 1997 as "Schroet Kommando" in Cologne and is the most successful eSports organisation in Germany. Since September 2021, SK has been part of the Equal eSports Initiative. As "SK Avarosa", the organisation competes with female/non-binary teams in League of Legends and Brawl Stars. BIG Chroma

Berlin International Gaming, or BIG for short, is based in Berlin and is one of the largest eSports organisations in Germany. BIG is active in numerous eSports titles.
