Equal eSports Queens
Project Queens becomes Equal eSports Queens!
As an extension of the successful Equal eSports Cup in League of Legends, we are integrating the previous Valorant format "Project Queens" into the Equal eSports Initiative under the new name Equal eSports Queens. Equal eSports Queens is offering the best Valorant players in the DACH region the opportunity to compete against each other under professional conditions.
Through this sustainable collaboration with the largest Valorant DACH tournament for women, we want to offer more offline events, co-streaming strategies and creative storytelling for the female Valorant scene together with the partners HanseMerkur and
MediaMarkt/Saturn.
After SK NEBULA became the first Valorant women's team of the Equal eSports Initiative almost a year ago, we are now taking our commitment in Valorant to the next level with Equal eSports Queens.
"Our goal is to offer female talent a professional platform, create sustainable structures and strengthen women's eSports in the long term. This is exactly what drives us as Deutsche Telekom to actively shape the future of competitive gaming and act as pioneers in society," says Antje Hundhausen, Vice President Brand Experience and initiator of the Equal eSports Initiative.
We are looking forward to many thrilling matches and exciting seasons at Equal eSports Queens!
