THE NEW TALENTS OF THE EQUAL ESPORTS TALENT PROMOTION OF THE EPF HAVE BEEN DETERMINED
The Equal eSports Initiative was launched on 30 September 2021. Almost 2 years have passed since then. Together with our partners SK Gaming and esports player foundation, we were able to set an example for more equality and diversity. With the Equal eSports Cup, we give women and non-binary players a stage on which they can show their skills. There was a big change at the Equal eSports Talent Camp this year: The players selected after the application phase were able to participate in an offline camp at the Telekom headquarters in Bonn. For all players who did not have the opportunity to be there, an online camp took place in advance. From a total of 164 applications, 48 players were invited to the camps. As in the previous year, Telekom will also be supporting a total of 22 players in the eSports titles League of Legends and Brawl Stars over the next 12 months together with the esports player foundation.
