Equal Esports goes Gamescom 2025!

Once again, Gamescom took place in Cologne from August 20th to 24th and Equal Esports was represented at several locations at the trade fair! We put together a diverse program consisting of competitions, youth development, influencers, workshops, educational opportunities, and much more!

Here you'll find everything you need to know: The Equal Esports highlight of Gamescom was undoubtedly the grand finale of the Equal Esports Cup. On August 23rd, you could watch the action live on Twitch at https://www.twitch.tv/equalesportsgg to see how G2 Hel prevailed and cemented their status as the best team in EU.

In the run-up to the Equal Esports Cup Finals, the Equal Esports Proving Grounds took place on August 22nd, together with renowned influencers. Here, 10 young up-and-coming players were given a platform to prove themselves and make the leap into the professional scene.

But that's not all. There were also meet & greets, merch giveaways and an outdoor chill zone right on the Piazza, where visitors could learn about Equal Esports, relax from the hustle and bustle of the exhibition halls, and get some fresh air.
